- Two years' study of Chinese including one year abroad, or equivalent.
Corequisites
- Chinese Language III (EAST2092).

Aims
- To develop intermediate/advanced level speaking, listening and reading skills in modern standard Chinese as required for translating texts and interpreting.
Content
- The main element is a topic-based module designed to improve language pattern and vocabulary awareness and oral and written expressive skills, in particular interpreting and translation into Chinese.
