Aims
- Further study of leading issues in the history of women, feminism and gender in Modern Europe and Britain at an advanced level, extending work undertaken in Women, Feminism and Gender in Modern Europe and Britain I, and normally leading to a dissertation in this field.
Content
- The module will address selected aspects of the history of women, feminism and gender in Modern Europe and Britain, reflecting current debate on the subject, and the particular interests of the student. Students may choose to focus all their work on an individual country, or to study a particular theme from a comparative perspective.
