Aims
- To improve linguistic skills through listening and reading practice with authentic contemporary texts.
Content
- Two contact hours per week: one for reading comprehension practice (classroom), the other for listening comprehension (language laboratory).
- Materials supplied by the department.

- By the end of this course students should have developed a high standard of understanding in both the spoken and written language.
- It is expected also that they will develop an awareness and appreciation of the Italian culture.

- This module is taught by means of two hours weekly. Students are required to attend all lectures and seminars and are expected to prepare themselves for classes and participate actively in discussions.
