      Formative Assessment:

      The following list is for the entire level one of the MBBS programme : 1 hour paper including MCQ/EMI/True False questions and data-handling; 3 station OSC/PE (both timed, unseen), Formative Assignment: Word Processed essay (1250 words, take-away). PPD Stream only: A learning portfolio will be kept by each student and will be used by tutors for formative assessment. Each practical session on clinical skills and communication skills will involve formative assessment. MiC Stream only : Learning portfolio, 2 class presentations of 10 minutes each.


      Attendance at all activities marked with this symbol will be monitored. Students who fail to attend these activities, or to complete the summative or formative assessment specified above, will be subject to the procedures defined in the University's General Regulation V, and may be required to leave the University
