Aims
- To consolidate skills in speaking and writing Russian grammatically and to enhance comprehension and vocabulary acquisition.
Content
- The module is based on a selection of texts in differing registers, and on a grammar component developed in the department.
- There are 3 strands:
- Grammar.
- Comprehension, Translation, Composition
- Oral
Learning Outcomes
Subject-specific Knowledge:
- This module is designed to extend students' knowledge of Russian vocabulary and grammar and develop fluency in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
- The intention is to use the language actively and to instil a sense of awareness of its potential for expression.

- This module will be taught by means of three weekly classes: a grammar class, a comprehension class and an oral class.
