Aims
- The aim of the module is to enable participants to apply a range of specialized practices to help define the business problem to be tackled by a change programme.
- Develop strategies for leading change.
Content

Learning Outcomes
Subject-specific Knowledge:
- Have an advanced understanding of how to diagnose the current organizational culture.
- Have an advanced understanding of what goes on under the surface of change processes and programme.
- Have a critical awareness of how people are responding to change.
Subject-specific Skills:
- Have a critical appreciation of specialized practices to identify the business problem and establish the goals of a complex change programme.
- Develop appropriate strategies for leading a complex change programme.
Key Skills:
- Consistently apply an advanced level of knowledge and wider intellectual skills in this complex and specialized area of study.
- Be adaptable, and show originality, insight, and critical and reflective abilities which can all be brought to bear on unpredictable and problematic situations.
- Critically evaluate and integrate theory and practice, exercising appropriate judgment, in a complex range of situations.

Modes of Teaching, Learning and Assessment and how these contribute to the learning outcomes of the module
- The learning outcomes will be addressed through a combination of lectures, case studies and seminars. The summative assessment by Assignment, is a critical exploration of a specific aspect of organizational complexity and the challenges of change. It is designed to test both students' conceptual knowledge and understanding, and their ability to apply what they have learned.

A group presentation assessing the challenges of change from a cultural and leadership perspective.
