Aims
- The aim of the module is to enable participants to:
- Critically assess the success of the project in terms of benefit delivery; identify opportunities for the realization of further benefits; and identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement in future.
- Apply a range of specialized techniques to continue to realize the potential benefits from information, applications and IT services.

Learning Outcomes
- Critically analyse the need for ongoing management, exploitation, and continuous improvements to realize the benefits from the new way of working.
- Explain a framework for the management and exploitation of information.
- Lead a benefits review to assess the outcome for a change programme, capture learning and set priorities for action to realize further benefits.
- Plan specialized activities to drive/ sustain adoption and exploitation of the new capabilities.
- Consistently apply an advanced level of knowledge and wider intellectual skills in this complex and specialized area of study.
- Be adaptable, and show originality, insight, and critical and reflective abilities which can all be brought to bear on unpredictable and problematic situations.
Modes of Teaching, Learning and Assessment and how these contribute to
the learning outcomes of the module
- The learning outcomes will be addressed through a combination of lectures, case studies and seminars. The summative assessment by Assignment, is a Review of a specific business area/process and development of an action plan. It is designed to test both students' conceptual knowledge and understanding, and their ability to apply what they have learned.

Formative assessment will be based on an individual exercise to reviewing specific organizational issues related to exploiting information.
