Aims
- To develop knowledge and analytical skills in advanced macroeconomics.
Content
- Advanced topics are drawn from:
- growth theory
- business cycle theory: DSGE Modelling
- monetary theory
- and their respective applications
Learning Outcomes
Subject-specific Knowledge:
- be able to interpret scholarly literature in advanced macroeconomics;
- have sufficient familiarity with the relevant current academic literature to identify open questions for their own research.

- Teaching is by lectures and seminars. Learning takes place through attendance at lectures, preparation for and participation in seminar classes, and private study.

- Summative assessment is by means of a written examination
