Aims
- To develop a critical understanding of the markets that businesses serve, and of marketing objectives and strategies
- To outline some of the external influences on businesses: economic, environmental, ethical, governmental, legal, social and technological issues that can have an impact on business activity
- To develop an understanding of employee motivation
- To develop an understanding of conflict resolution within a business environment
- To introduce the basics of econimcs
- To acquire a range of key skills, including decision making and problem-solving
