Modes of Teaching, Learning and Assessment and how these contribute to the learning outcomes of the module

  • Workshops will summarise the management accounting techniques underpinning the course and enable students to apply this knowledge in simulate business scenarios.
  • The formative assessment will be a practice test that will require students to apply management accounting techniques to advise organisations using a scenario based question.
  • The summative assessment consists of an examination which will test students in a number of scenario based questions, where students will be required to decide upon which management accounting techniques to apply, and provide advice and recommendations in a clear and professional manner.
