Subject-specific Knowledge:
- On completion of this module students should be able to:
- Understand the key skills expected of a professional accountant in today's business environment.
- Apply these skills accordingly to different simulated business situations.

Modes of Teaching, Learning and Assessment and how these contribute to the learning outcomes of the module
- Learning takes place through attendance at workshops, preparation for and participation in workshops, and independent study.
- Formative assessment is by means of workshop activities with both peer and staff feedback.
- Summative assessment will include two group activities: a case study resulting in a report and a group presentation, and a second group project and presentation. There will also be an individual reflective log.
