Aims

  • To develop specialist knowledge of a relevant contemporary behavioural science topic
  • To critically analyse the topic chosen including of how extant theories and empirical work can be used to address specific behavioural science challenges

Content

  • In this module, learners conduct an independent extended project on a relevant behavioural science topic. The topic will be discussed and agreed with an academic member of staff who will supervise the project. However, the project topic must be substantively different from that covered in the Behavioural Science Dissertation. The project may take the form of a narrative or systematic literature review, a short strategic case analysis, meta-analysis, or the development of a new theoretical model. Hence, the Extended Project will provide students with an opportunity to undertake a deep dive into a specific behavioural science topic without the need to collect original empirical data.
