Modes of Teaching, Learning and Assessment and how these contribute to
the learning outcomes of the module
- The module will be delivered through weekly lectures and biweekly seminars. Lectures will cover conceptual frameworks, empirical research findings, and business cases. Seminars will include data analysis exercises and hands-on training in quantitative methods.
- The summative assessment is project-based and will require students to analyze real-world data from an organization facing a specific people management problem. Students will integrate theoretical knowledge with quantitative data analysis to make evidence-based recommendations. They will produce a report that includes the quantitative findings of their analysis, along with insights and recommendations derived from the analysis (maximum 900 words) and will undertake a data analysis exercise (maximum 100 words).
- The formative assessment will provide students with the opportunity to practice the skills they will need for the summative assessment, as well as to receive useful feedback to guide their learning. The summative will require students to analyse real-world data from an organization facing a specific people management problem.

The formative assessment will provide students with the opportunity to practice the skills they will need for the summative assessment, as well as to receive useful feedback to guide their learning. The formative assessment will be an individual assignment requiring students to analyze real-world data from an organization facing a specific people management problem. Students will produce a report that includes the quantitative findings of their analysis, along with insights and recommendations derived from the analysis (maximum 900 words, excluding tables).
■ Attendance at all activities marked with this symbol will be monitored. Students who fail to attend these activities, or to complete the summative or formative assessment specified above, will be subject to the procedures defined in the University's General Regulation V, and may be required to leave the University
